Baptisms
The Sacrament of Baptism is celebrated by appointment on Sundays at 10am. Weddings
For information and bookings to celebrate your wedding at Our Lady of Mount Carmel, please contact the parish office. As it can take some time to complete the necessary legal and church application processes, we encourage you to contact us as early as possible before the wedding (at least six months notice).

Confirmation
As per the Sacramental Policy of the Archdiocese of Brisbane, Confirmation will be celebrated when the children are in Year 3.
First Holy Communion
As per the Sacramental Policy of the Archdiocese of Brisbane, First Holy Communion will be celebrated when the children are in Year 4.
Penance (Reconciliation)
As per the Sacramental Policy of the Archdiocese of Brisbane, Reconciliation will be celebrated when the children are in Year 5. If you are wishing for your child to make an individual First Confession, please contact the Parish Office.

Child and Parent Information Night: Tuesday 3 February @ 6-7pm
Rite of Presentation at Mass: Sunday 15 February @ 8:30am
Celebration of Reconciliation: Thursday 5 March @ 6-7pm
Enrolments Open: Monday 12 January 2026 and close at midday Tuesday 3 February.
Sacrament of First Eucharist (First Holy Communion) 2026
As per the Sacramental Policy of the Archdiocese of Brisbane, children in Year 4, 2026 are prepared to celebrate this sacrament.
The Sacrament of First Eucharist dates will be advised soon.
