At Carmel Care, guided by the Carmelite tenets of prayer, community, and service, we are a dedicated community of cooks and carers, committed to serving with humility and practicality. We believe in the power of connection through shared meals and moments, creating opportunities for people to build friendships and experience a true sense of belonging.

Our mission is to step up and support both our community and those in need, offering compassionate service where our skills can make a difference. We aim to fill the gaps, whether through providing care, comfort, or simply a friendly presence. With intentionality, we bring people together, recognizing the unique contributions of all, whether they come for the Mass, the community, or both.

Inclusive and welcoming, we embrace everyone at our functions and encourage courage in inviting others to join us. Through practical service, we remain responsive to the emergent needs of those around us, building a stronger, more connected community of care.

• Morning Tea following the quarterly Mass of Anointing
• Christmas in July community celebration
• Hospitality after the 6 pm vigil Mass – once per Term
• Involvement and support of the community recognition of the Mass of Remembrance weekend
• Church linen washing
• Funeral hospitality as requested
